A STUDY AREA COMMUNITY ART IN RATCHABURI

Abstract

This study, is concerned with art areas in the communities in Mueang District in Ratchaburi Province This study was qualitative research. The researcher collected the data from Regular Art Project Two from2016 to 2018, using the descriptive data collection method. The three groups of individuals were purposively interviewed. The obtained data were analyzed and summarized regarding exhibition methods and areas. These communities participated in all nine main steps. The purposes of the study were to investigate the processes and concepts of the art exhibitions in these communities in order to make local people aware of the art areas in any useful form. In the project, there were the seventeen permanent areas for holding exhibitions. It was found that setting goals was the most important step. Wasinburi Supanichvoraparch assigned Supakan Wongkaew, the curator of the project, to be responsible for all exhibitions, budgets and methods with the participation of the communities. The participates were the main objectives of the project. It was found that Supakarn Wongkaew wanted to show that the art areas were dirty and had been abandoned by the villagers and that these areas could be permanent areas for holding exhibitions and showing the value of the arts according to the concept of “Toy Buri,” (i.e. this means that everything keeps changing, some areas were abandoned, some areas had crowded markets, some areas had old wooden buildings, some areas had the centers of activities in different forms, some areas were important, and some were disappearing. This is similar to throwing the dice. Toy is a Thai word that means “throwing the dice.” This project connected people, places and communities by perfectly telling the stories about the province in this form.

การศึกษาพื้นที่ศิลปะในชุมชน อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดราชบุรี เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ผู้วิจัยได้รวบรวมและเก็บข้อมูลในโครงการปกติศิลป์ 2 ในปีพ.ศ.2559 – 2561 ซึ่งใช้วิธีการเก็บข้อมูลแบบพรรณนา โดยการสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะจง จำนวน 3 กลุ่ม และนำข้อมูลที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์และสรุปผลการศึกษา วิธีการจัดนิทรรศการ และการเลือกใช้พื้นที่ในการจัดนิทรรศการโดยชุมชนมีส่วนร่วมทั้งหมด 9 ขั้นตอนสำคัญ มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาวิธีการจัดกระบวนการ และแนวคิดในการจัดกิจกรรมศิลปะในพื้นที่ชุมชน จังหวัดราชบุรี ที่ทำให้ชาวเมืองราชบุรีเห็นและตระหนักถึงการจัดนิทรรศการพื้นที่ศิลปะ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นพื้นที่รูปแบบใดก็สามารถนำมาใช้ประโยชน์ได้ ซึ่งในโครงการปกติศิลป์ 2 นั้น ได้มีการกำหนดสถานที่เพื่อใช้เป็นพื้นที่สำหรับจัดนิทรรศการศิลปะแบบถาวรทั้งหมด 17 แห่ง พบว่า ขั้นตอนในการตั้งเป้าหมายนั้นเป็นอันดับหนึ่ง โดย วศินบุรี สุพานิชวรภาชน์ ได้มอบหมายหน้าที่ให้ศุภกานต์ วงษ์แก้ว ดำรงค์ตำแหน่งเป็นภัณฑารักษ์ในโครงการปกติศิลป์ เป็นผู้ดูแลงานทั้งหมด รวมทั้งงบประมาณในการจัดนิทรรศการ และการมีส่วนร่วมของคนในชุมชน ถือเป็นจุดประสงค์หลักในการจัดนิทรรศการโครงการปกติศิลป์ 2 ผลการวิจัยพบว่า พื้นที่ในการจัดนิทรรศการศิลปะในชุมชนนั้น ต้องการที่จะแสดงให้เห็นว่า พื้นที่รกร้างสกปรก รวมไปถึงพื้นที่ที่ไม่ถูกนำมาใช้ประโยชน์ สามารถเลือกเอาพื้นที่เหล่านี้มาเป็นพื้นที่สำหรับจัดนิทรรศการศิลปะแบบถาวรได้ โดยทำให้ชาวบ้านเห็นคุณค่าของศิลปะเพิ่มมากขึ้น โดยใช้แนวคิดที่ว่า ‘ทอยบุรี ที่หมายถึง ทุกสิ่งอยู่ในช่วงกำลังเปลี่ยนผ่าน บางพื้นที่เคยปล่อยว่าง บางพื้นที่เคยเป็นตลาดที่คึกคัก บางพื้นที่เคยมีอาคารไม้เก่า บางพื้นที่เคยมีต้นไม้ บางพื้นที่เคยเป็นศูนย์กลางในกิจกรรมการใช้ชีวิตในรูปแบบต่างๆ บางพื้นที่ที่เคยเป็นบางอย่างที่สำคัญ แต่บางอย่างนั้นกำลังหายไป เปรียบเสมือนกับการทอยลูกเต๋า” ซึ่งโครงการนี้เป็นการเชื่อมโยงระหว่างผู้คน สถานที่หรือชุมชนเข้าด้วยกัน เป็นบอกเล่าเรื่องราวร่วมกันในอีกรูปแบบหนึ่งของเมืองราชบุรีได้อย่างลงตัว
