A STUDY OF MATHAYOMSUKSA II STUDENTS’ PROOF ABILITIES ON PARALLEL VIA CONJECTURING AND PROVING METHOD WITH GEOGEBRA PROGRAM

Abstract

The purposes of this study are as follows: (1) to study the proof abilities of Mathayomsuksa II students in parallel, after being taught through the conjecturing and proving method with the GeoGebra program, and (2) to compare their mathematical attitudes before and after being taught through the conjecturing and proving method with the GeoGebra program. The participants were 40 Mathayomsuksa II students from Samutsakhonburana school in Samutsakhon province. The research instruments in this study included: (1) lesson plans that allowed students to learn the topic via the conjecturing and proving method with the GeoGebra program; (2) the proof abilities test on the topic of parallel, and (3) a questionnaire to measure mathematical attitudes. The duration of the experiment was nine periods of 50 minutes per period, in the second term of the 2019 academic year. The research findings revealed the following: (1) after being taught by the conjecturing and proving method with the GeoGebra program, over 60% of the participants had proof abilities on the parallel score that satisfied the criteria at a statistically significant level of .01, and (2) the mathematical attitudes of the students were significantly higher than before at a level of .01.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) ศึกษาความสามารถในการพิสูจน์ เรื่อง เส้นขนาน ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยวิธีการสร้างข้อความคาดการณ์และพิสูจน์ร่วมกับโปรแกรม GeoGebra 2) เปรียบเทียบเจตคติต่อวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ก่อนและหลังได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยวิธีการสร้างข้อความคาดการณ์และพิสูจน์ร่วมกับโปรแกรม GeoGebra กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 โรงเรียนสมุทรสาครบูรณะ จังหวัดสมุทรสาคร จํานวน 40 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ประกอบด้วย 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้และแฟ้มงานในโปรแกรม GeoGebra ตามวิธีการสร้างข้อความคาดการณ์และพิสูจน์ เรื่อง เส้นขนาน 2) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการพิสูจน์ เรื่อง เส้นขนาน และ 3) แบบวัดเจตคติต่อวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ ใช้สำหรับวัดเจตคติต่อวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ก่อนและหลังได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้ ระยะเวลาที่ใช้ในการทดลอง จำนวน 9 คาบเรียน คาบเรียนละ 50 นาที ในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2562 ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยวิธีการสร้างข้อความคาดการณ์และพิสูจน์ร่วมกับโปรแกรม GeoGebra มีความสามารถในการพิสูจน์ เรื่อง เส้นขนาน ผ่านเกณฑ์มากกว่าร้อยละ 60 ของจำนวนนักเรียนทั้งหมด ที่ระดับนัยสําคัญ .01 และ 2) เจตคติต่อวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 หลังได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยวิธีการสร้างข้อความคาดการณ์และพิสูจน์ร่วมกับโปรแกรม GeoGebra สูงกว่าก่อนได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้ ที่ระดับนัยสําคัญ .01
