CONCEPTS DEVELOPMENT IN SOCIAL STUDIES, RELIGION AND CULTURE FOR BEING A GOOD CITIZEN

Abstract

The research focused on developing core concepts in Social Studies, Religion and Culture for promoting good citizenship. The objectives were to develop and evaluate the quality of the core concepts at the upper secondary school level. This basic research presents conceptual frameworks and explanatory content derived from national learning standards and indicators. The study included 15 experts in Social Sciences and Humanities, selected through snowball sampling, and 63 high school teachers of Social Studies, Religion and Culture under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nonthaburi, selected via simple random sampling. The research instruments consisted of: 1) a questionnaire for experts in Social Sciences and Humanities. 2) a questionnaire on the synthesis results of conceptual explanations for experts in Social Sciences and Humanities. and 3) a questionnaire used to evaluate the core concepts for teachers in the Social Studies, Religion and Culture learning area at the upper secondary education level. The findings revealed that 1) all five synthesized core concepts and their explanations were rated as highly appropriate by the experts. and 2) the teachers also considered them highly suitable for instructional use.

การวิจัยนี้เป็นการพัฒนาความคิดรวบยอดวิชาสังคมศึกษา ศาสนา และวัฒนธรรมสู่ความเป็นพลเมืองดี ซึ่งมีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อพัฒนาและประเมินคุณภาพของความคิดรวบยอดวิชาสังคมศึกษา ศาสนาและวัฒนธรรม ในระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายสู่ความเป็นพลเมืองดี เป็นการวิจัยพื้นฐาน (Basic Research) เพื่อนำเสนอความคิดรวบยอดและคำอธิบายความคิดรวบยอดที่มุ่งพัฒนาผู้เรียนสู่ความเป็นพลเมืองดีซึ่งได้มาจากมาตรฐานการเรียนรู้และตัวชี้วัดในกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้สังคมศึกษา ศาสนา และวัฒนธรรม โดยมีกลุ่มตัวอย่างจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญทางด้านสังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์ จำนวน 15 คน โดยใช้วิธีการเลือกตัวอย่างแบบสโนวบอล (Snowball Sampling) และครูผู้สอนรายวิชาในกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้สังคมศึกษาศาสนา และวัฒนธรรม ในระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษานนทบุรี จำนวน 63 คน ที่ได้มาจากการสุ่มแบบง่าย (Simple Random Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 1) แบบสอบถาม สำหรับผู้เชี่ยวชาญทางด้านสังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์ 2) แบบสอบถามผลการสังเคราะห์คำอธิบายความคิดรวบยอดสำหรับผู้เชี่ยวชาญทางด้านสังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์ และ 3) แบบสอบถามที่ใช้ในการประเมินความคิดรวบยอดสำหรับครูผู้สอนในกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้สังคมศึกษา ศาสนา และวัฒนธรรม ระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ความคิดรวบยอดและคำอธิบายความคิดรวบยอดทั้ง 5 สาระ มีความเหมาะสม อยู่ในระดับมาก 2) ครูผู้สอนประเมินคุณภาพของความคิดรวบยอดและคำอธิบายความคิดรวบยอดทั้ง 5 สาระ ว่ามีความเหมาะสมต่อการนำไปใช้ในการจัดการเรียนการสอน อยู่ในระดับมาก
