DEVELOPMENT OF AN ADMINISTRATION MODEL FOR PHYSICAL EDUCATION COURSES IN GENERAL EDUCATION AT UBONRATCHATHANI UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop an administration model for physical education courses in general education at Ubonratchathani University, which was divided into two stages. The objectives of the first stage was to study the situation, problems, needs and suitable solutions for an administration model for physical education courses in general education at Ubonratchathani University. The sample group was consisted of five experts, seven executives from Ubonratchathani University, twelve lecturers and staff and three hundred and eight-six students. The methods of content analysis and Analytic Induction was applied to analyze the data, as well as mean, standard deviation after that PNI Modified was used. The objective of the second stage was to create, develop, assess and confirm the administration model. The researcher used the data in stage one and synthesized it to make the model. Then, five experts examined the model by using median, interquartile range. Furthermore, seven executives and twelve lecturer and staff mwmbers used mean and standard deviation to confirm the criteria. The results revealed that the main problem of administration for physical education was curriculum and the most necessary factor was place and facilities (PNib= 0.28) learning management (PNib = 0.24), and curriculum (PNib = 0.16), respectively. Moreover, the administration model for physical education courses in general education at Ubonratchathani University was composed of three aspects: input including administration structure, curriculum, lecturers, budget, places and facilities; processes including of planning, operation, assessment, and improvement; and output including the qualities of students, and performance efficiency. The assessment and quality assurance of the administration model for physical education courses in general education at Ubonratchathani University was accurate. Every aspect showed that the sample group agreed with the accuracy, suitability, usefulness, possibility and responsibility at a high level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อพัฒนารูปแบบการบริหารจัดการวิชาพลศึกษา หมวดวิชาศึกษาทั่วไป ในมหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี ดำเนินการวิจัยทั้งหมด 2 ระยะ โดยระยะที่ 1 เป็นการศึกษาสภาพ ปัญหา ความต้องการจำเป็น และแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาของรูปแบบการบริหารจัดการวิชาพลศึกษา หมวดวิชาศึกษาทั่วไป ในมหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือผู้เชี่ยวชาญ 5 คน ผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี 7 คน อาจารย์ผู้สอนและเจ้าหน้าที่ที่เกี่ยวข้อง 12 คน และนักศึกษา 386 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการสัมภาษณ์แบบกึ่งโครงสร้าง การจัดสนทนากลุ่ม และการใช้แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content Analysis) ร่วมกับการสรุปอุปนัย (Analytic Induction) วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณด้วยค่าเฉลี่ย (M) ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S) และค่าดัชนีความต้องการจำเป็น (PNI Modified) ระยะที่ 2 เป็นการสร้าง พัฒนา ตรวจสอบ และยืนยันคุณภาพของรูปแบบการบริหารจัดการวิชาพลศึกษา หมวดวิชาศึกษาทั่วไป ในมหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี 1 โดยนำข้อมูลจากระยะที่ 1 มาสังเคราะห์ (Synthesis) เพื่อสร้างรูปแบบ จากนั้นตรวจสอบความถูกต้องและความเหมาะสมของรูปแบบโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญ 5 คน ด้วยค่ามัธยฐาน (Md) และค่าพิสัยระหว่างควอไทล์ (IQR) และตรวจสอบความเป็นประโยชน์ ความเป็นไปได้ และความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมของรูปแบบโดยผู้บริหาร 7 คน อาจารย์และเจ้าหน้าที่ที่เกี่ยวข้อง 12 คน ด้วยค่าเฉลี่ย (M) และค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S) เพื่อยืนยันคุณภาพรูปแบบตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ค่าเฉลี่ย (M) และค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S) การบริหารจัดการวิชาพลศึกษาด้านที่มีปัญหามากที่สุดคือด้านหลักสูตรและด้านที่มีความต้องการจำเป็นมากที่สุด คือ ด้านสถานที่ และสิ่งสนับสนุนการเรียนรู้(PNIb = 0.28) รองลงมาคือ ด้านการจัดการเรียนรู้ (PNIb = 0.24) และ ด้านหลักสูตร (PNIb = 0.16) ตามลำดับ โดยรูปแบบการบริหารจัดการวิชาพลศึกษา หมวดวิชาศึกษาทั่วไป ในมหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี ควรมีองค์ประกอบ 3 ด้าน คือ ด้านปัจจัยนำเข้า (Input) ประกอบด้วย โครงสร้างการบริหาร หลักสูตร อาจารย์ผู้สอน งบประมาณ สถานที่ และสิ่งสนับสนุนการเรียนรู้ ด้านกระบวนการ (Process) ประกอบด้วย การวางแผน (Plan) การดำเนินการ (Do) การตรวจสอบ (Check) และการปรับปรุงแก้ไข (Act) และด้านผลผลิต (Output) ประกอบด้วย คุณภาพผู้เรียน และประสิทธิภาพการบริหารงาน ซึ่งผลการตรวจสอบและยืนยันคุณภาพรูปแบบการบริหารจัดการวิชาพลศึกษา หมวดวิชาศึกษาทั่วไป ในมหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานีพบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างเห็นว่ารูปแบบมีความถูกต้อง ความเหมาะสม ความเป็นประโยชน์ ความเป็นไปได้ และความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ซึ่งผ่านเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดทุกรายการ
