FACTORS INFLUENCING THE USAGE BEHAVIOR OF CLOUD STORAGE SYSTEMSOF EMPLOYEES IN IT SERVICE PROVIDER COMPANY IN HUAI KHWANG DISTRICT

Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the factors Influencing the usage behavior of cloud storage systems of the employees of an IT service provider company in the Huai Khwang district. The sample consisted of 315 employees. A questionnaire was used as the instrument for data collection. The data analyzed using statistics, including mean, percentage and standard deviation, as well as multiple regression analysis to test the hypothesis. The results found the sample group were female, aged 28- 37 years old, had a Bachelor’s degree, single, and an average monthly salary from 15,001 – 30,000 baht. The result of the analysis indicates that the factors influencing attitudes towards the usage of cloud data storage systems were at the highest level of confidence. Similarly, the assessment of the important of using cloud storage systems was also at the highest level. The analysis regarding adherence to reference groups for using cloud storage systems, particularly adherence in using of cloud storage systems and the motivation from reference groups, is at the highest level . Additionally, the ability to control behavior regarding usage of cloud storage systems, in terms of overall perception of usage and self-control ability was at the highest level. The results of the hypothesis testing revealed the following: (1) the attitudes of IT service provider employees regarding beliefs and the evaluation of the importance of using cloud storage systems affect behaviors related to using cloud storage systems at a statistically significant level of .01.; (2) employees of a private company providing IT services using cloud storage systems based on reference groups and motivation from reference groups. This had a significant effect on behaviors related to using cloud storage systems at a statistically significant level of .01; and (3) employees of a private company providing IT services, their ability to control employee behavior perception using cloud storage systems, and ability to self-regulate behavior affect behaviors related to using cloud storage systems at a statistically significant level of .05.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาระดับปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อพฤติกรรมการใช้งานระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูล คลาวด์ของพนักงานบริษัทเอกชนผู้ให้บริการด้าน IT แห่งหนึ่งในเขตห้วยขวาง โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาคือ พนักงานบริษัทเอกชนผู้ให้บริการด้าน IT แห่งหนึ่งในเขตห้วยขวาง จำนวน 315 คน ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลผู้วิจัยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สถิติที่ใช้ในการทดสอบสมมติฐาน ได้แก่ การวิเคราะห์เชิงถดถอยพหุคูณ ผลการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลลักษณะประชากรศาสตร์ของผู้ตอบแบบสอบถาม พบว่า ผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง มีอายุ 28-37 ปี การศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี สถานภาพโสด รายได้เฉลี่ยต่อเดือนอยู่ระหว่าง 15,001 – 30,000 บาท ผลการวิเคราะห์ ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อพฤติกรรมการใช้งานระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลด้านเจตคติต่อการใช้งานระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลคลาวด์ ด้านความเชื่อมั่นเกี่ยวกับการใช้งานระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ส่วนการประเมินค่าความสำคัญของการใช้งานระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลคลาวด์อยู่ในระดับมากถึงมากที่สุด ด้านการคล้อยตามกลุ่มอ้างอิงต่อการใช้งานระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลคลาวด์ เรื่องการคล้อยตามในการใช้งานระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลคลาวด์จากกุล่มอ้างอิงและแรงจูงใจจากกลุ่มอ้างอิงที่มีต่อการใช้งานระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลคลาวด์อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ด้านการรับรู้ความสามารถในการควบคุมพฤติกรรมต่อการใช้งานในระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลคลาวด์ เรื่องการรับรู้เกี่ยวกับการใช้งานระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลและความสามารถในการควบคุมพฤติกรรมตนเองในการใช้งานระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ผลการทดสอบสมมติฐานการวิจัยพบว่า 1) เจตคติของพนักงานผู้ให้บริการด้าน IT เรื่องความเชื่อและเรื่องการประเมินความสำคัญของการใช้งานระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลคลาวด์ส่งผลต่อพฤติกรรมเกี่ยวกับการใช้งานระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลคลาวด์ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 2) พนักงานผู้ให้บริการด้าน IT มีการคล้อยตามในการใช้งานระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลคลาวด์จากกลุ่มอ้างอิงและแรงจูงใจจากกลุ่มอ้างอิงที่มีต่อการใช้งานระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลคลาวด์ส่งผลต่อพฤติกรรมเกี่ยวกับการใช้งานระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลคลาวด์ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 3) พนักงานผู้ให้บริการด้าน IT มีการรับรู้ความสามารถในการควบคุมพฤติกรรมของพนักงาน เรื่องการรับรู้เกี่ยวกับการใช้งานระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลคลาวด์และความสามารถในการควบคุมพฤติกรรมตนเองส่งผลต่อพฤติกรรมเกี่ยวกับต่อพฤติกรรมเกี่ยวกับการใช้งานระบบพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลคลาวด์ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
