Abstract: This research investigates the traditional Thai tuning system. The disagreement has surrounded the tuning of Thai classical music. Focusing on Ranat Ek, we can analyze the sound cents of intervals and determine whether intervals are consonant using the existing mathematical formula by measuring the vibration frequency of each sound. Compared to the vibration data of Ranat Ek, with various school instruments, the tuning system of the Thai government was selected as the tuning standard for constructing the Ranat Ek concerto after data analysis. The researcher composed a Ranat Ek concerto after deciding to use the Thai government-issued tuning system. The researcher attempted to have the entire symphony orchestra use this tuning system to accompany Ranat Ek. Following the Western method of composing concertos, the selection of these three works as concertos was based on tempo. The music can incorporate Thai characteristics.
