VISIONARY LEADERSHIP THAT AFFECTS THE HIGH PERFORMANCE ORGANIZATION OF SCHOOL UNDER THE BANGKOK METROPOLITAN ADMINISTRATION

Abstract

The purposes of this research were as follows: (1) to study the visionary leadership of school administrators and the status of high-performance organizations of schools under the authority of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration; (2) to study the relationship between the visionary leadership of school administrators; and status as high-performance organizations of schools under the authority of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration; and (3) to study the visionary leadership of school administrators that affected their status as high-performance organizations of schools under the authority of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The sample consisted of 375 school administrators and teachers under the authority of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and stratified sampling was based on schools as strata for setting the proportions. Then, they were selected by simple random sampling that used drawing lots. The instrument used questionnaires and the index of item objective congruence was valued at more than 0.60, the visionary leadership of administrators was .978, and the reliability of the high-performance organization was at .976. The statistics used for data analysis included mean, percentage, standard deviation, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient, and Multiple Regression. The results are revealed as follows: (1) the overall visionary leadership of school administrators under the authority of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration was at a high level; (2) the overall status as high-performance organizations of schools under the authority of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration was at a high level; (3) visionary leadership of school administrators was highly correlated, with a statistical significance of .01 and the correlation coefficients (r) = .853; and (4) visionary leadership of school administrators significantly affected the status as high-performance organizations of schools under the authority of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration with a statistical significance of .05. All aspects affected the status as high-performance organizations of schools under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration at 73.10%.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) เพื่อศึกษาระดับภาวะผู้นำวิสัยทัศน์ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาและการเป็นองค์การสมรรถนะสูงของสถานศึกษาสังกัดกรุงเทพมหานคร 2) เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างภาวะผู้นำวิสัยทัศน์ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาและการเป็นองค์การสมรรถนะสูงของสถานศึกษาสังกัดกรุงเทพมหานคร 3) เพื่อศึกษาภาวะผู้นำวิสัยทัศน์ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาที่ส่งผลต่อการเป็นองค์การสมรรถนะสูงของสถานศึกษาสังกัดกรุงเทพมหานคร กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาและครูสังกัดกรุงเทพมหานครจำนวน 375 คน โดยกำหนดตามตารางเครจซี่และมอร์แกน จากนั้นสุ่มแบบแบ่งชั้น โดยใช้ขนาดของสถานศึกษาเป็นระดับชั้นในการกำหนดสัดส่วน จากนั้นทำการสุ่มอย่างง่ายโดยการจับสลาก เครื่องมือที่ใช้เป็นแบบสอบถามแบบมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ ซึ่งมีค่าดัชนีความสอดคล้องของแบบสอบถามระหว่างตั้งแต่ 0.60 - 1.00 ค่าความเชื่อมั่นของแบบสอบถามภาวะผู้นำวิสัยทัศน์ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา เท่ากับ .978 และค่าความเชื่อมั่นของแบบสอบการเป็นองค์การสมรรถนะสูงของสถานศึกษา เท่ากับ .976 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตราฐาน สัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน และการถดถอยพหุคูณแบบวิธีการคัดเลือกเข้า ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ระดับภาวะผู้นำวิสัยทัศน์ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา สังกัดกรุงเทพมหานคร โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก 2) ระดับความเป็นองค์การสมรรถนะสูงของสถานศึกษาสังกัดกรุงเทพมหานคร โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก 3) ภาวะผู้นำวิสัยทัศน์ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษามีความสัมพันธ์กับการเป็นองค์การสมรรถนะสูงของสถานศึกษาสังกัดกรุงเทพมหานคร อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 โดยมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ (r) = .853 แสดงว่าตัวแปรทั้งสองมีความสัมพันธ์ในระดับสูง และ 4) ภาวะผู้นำวิสัยทัศน์ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาส่งผลต่อการเป็นองค์การสมรรถนะสูงของสถานศึกษาสังกัดกรุงเทพมหานคร อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 โดยภาวะผู้นำวิสัยทัศน์ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาทุกด้านส่งผลต่อการเป็นองค์การสมรรถนะสูงของสถานศึกษาสังกัดกรุงเทพมหานคร ได้ร้อยละ 73.10
