THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROFESSOR SILPA BHIRASRI'SPERSONAL DIGITAL ARCHIVES

Abstract

This research aims to develop and evaluate the personal digital archives of Professor Silpa Bhirasri using the system development life cycle (SDLC), which consists of four steps: (1) preliminary study; (2) system analysis; (3) system design and development; and (4) system implementation and evaluation. The target groups used in the research were divided into three groups: 13 key informants, five experts, and 70 users. The research tools used in the research were interview forms and a digital archive quality assessment form which analyzes the interview data by means of content analysis and analyzes the digital archive quality assessment data with mean and standard deviation. The results showed that in the development of the personal digital archives of Professor Silpa Bhirasri, two aspects were studied and analyzed: (1) the system aspects, i.e., hardware, software and data; and (2) the user side, including screen design, searching for information, the display of the search results and their use and utilization. In addition, the experts assessed the overall quality of system was at high level. As for the quality assessment results of the personal digital archives of Professor Silpa Bhirasri by users, it was found that the overall quality was at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that use and utilization had the highest mean at a high level the personal digital archives of Professor Silpa Bhirasri. This developed Bhirasri is useful for a wide range of studies that are available through the internet. It can also be used as a guideline for the development of personal digital archives of libraries, archives and other information organizations.

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาและประเมินคลังจดหมายเหตุดิจิทัลส่วนบุคคลของศาสตราจารย์ศิลป์ พีระศรี โดยใช้วงจรการพัฒนาระบบ SDLC ประกอบด้วย 4 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ 1) การศึกษาขั้นต้น 2) การวิเคราะห์ระบบ 3) การออกแบบและพัฒนาระบบ และ 4) การนำระบบไปใช้และการประเมินผล กลุ่มเป้าหมายที่ใช้ในการวิจัย แบ่งเป็น 3 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ กลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลัก จำนวน 13 คน ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ จำนวน 5 คน และผู้ใช้ จำนวน 70 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์ และแบบประเมินคุณภาพคลังจดหมายเหตุดิจิทัลฯ ซึ่งวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลการสัมภาษณ์ด้วยวิธีวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลการประเมินคุณภาพคลังจดหมายเหตุดิจิทัลด้วยค่าเฉลี่ยและส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การพัฒนาคลังจดหมายเหตุดิจิทัลส่วนบุคคลของศาสตราจารย์ศิลป์ พีระศรี มีการศึกษาและวิเคราะห์ความต้องการ 2 ด้าน คือ 1) ด้านระบบ ได้แก่ ฮาร์ดแวร์ ซอฟต์แวร์ และข้อมูล และ 2) ด้านผู้ใช้ ได้แก่ การออกแบบหน้าจอ การค้นหาข้อมูล การแสดงผลการค้นหา และการใช้งานและการนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ และผลการประเมินคุณภาพโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ส่วนผลการประเมินคุณภาพของคลังจดหมายเหตุดิจิทัลส่วนบุคคลของศาสตราจารย์ศิลป์ พีระศรี โดยผู้ใช้ พบว่า มีคุณภาพโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมากเช่นกัน เมื่อพิจารณารายด้านพบว่า ด้านการใช้งานและการนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุดอยู่ในระดับมาก สำหรับคลังจดหมายเหตุดิจิทัลส่วนบุคคลของศาสตราจารย์ศิลป์ พีระศรีที่พัฒนาขึ้นนี้เป็นประโยชน์ต่อการศึกษาค้นคว้าที่ให้บริการผ่านอินเทอร์เน็ตได้อย่างกว้างขวาง รวมทั้งสามารถนำไปใช้เป็นแนวทางในการพัฒนาคลังจดหมายเหตุดิจิทัลส่วนบุคคลของห้องสมุด หอจดหมายเหตุ และองค์กรสารสนเทศอื่นได้
