A STUDY OF CONCEPTUAL KNOWLEDGE AND PROCEDURAL KNOWLEDGEON MATRICES FOR MATHAYOMSUKSA IV STUDENTSBY USING MICROSOFT EXCEL

Abstract

The purposes of this study are as follows: (1) to study the conceptual knowledge of Mathayomsuksa IV students on matrices after being taught by using the Microsoft Excel program; and (2) to study the procedural knowledge of Mathayomsuksa IV students on matrices after being taught by the Microsoft Excel program. The participants were 45 Mathayomsuksa IV students of Bodindecha (Sing Singhaseni) School in Bangkok, Thailand, in the second semester of the 2020 academic year. The participants were taught through 10 lesson plans, with 50 minutes for each lesson plan. The conceptual and the procedural knowledge tests on matrices were used for evaluating the students. The research findings revealed the following: (1) after being taught by using the Microsoft Excel program, over 60% of the participants were satisfied with the criteria of having conceptual knowledge at a significant level of .05; and (2) after being taught by using the Microsoft Excel program, over 60% of the participants satisfied the criteria of procedural knowledge at a significant level of .05

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) ศึกษาความรู้เชิงมโนทัศน์ เรื่อง เมทริกซ์ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 หลังการจัดการเรียนรู้ โดยใช้โปรแกรม Microsoft Excel 2) ศึกษาความรู้เชิงกระบวนการ เรื่อง เมทริกซ์ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 หลังการจัดการเรียนรู้ โดยใช้โปรแกรม Microsoft Excel กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 แผนการเรียนวิทยาศาสตร์และคณิตศาสตร์ โรงเรียนบดินทรเดชา (สิงห์ สิงหเสนี) ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2563 จำนวน 1 ห้องเรียน 45 คน การทดลองเป็นแบบกลุ่มเดี่ยวมีการทดสอบหลังเรียนเท่านั้น เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ประกอบด้วย แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้และแฟ้มคำสั่งในโปรแกรม Microsoft Excel จำนวน 10 แผน แผนละ 1 คาบ คาบละ 50 นาที แบบทดสอบวัดความรู้ เชิงมโนทัศน์ และแบบทดสอบวัดความรู้เชิงกระบวนการ เรื่อง เมทริกซ์ เพื่อประเมินความรู้นักเรียน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่เรียนด้วยการจัดการเรียนรู้ โดยใช้โปรแกรม Microsoft Excel ผ่านเกณฑ์การทดสอบความรู้เชิงมโนทัศน์ เรื่อง เมทริกซ์ ได้มากกว่าร้อยละ 60 ของจำนวนนักเรียนทั้งหมด ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญ .05 และ 2) นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่เรียนด้วยการจัดการเรียนรู้ โดยใช้โปรแกรม Microsoft Excel ผ่านเกณฑ์การทดสอบความรู้ เชิงกระบวนการ เรื่อง เมทริกซ์ ได้มากกว่าร้อยละ 60 ของจำนวนนักเรียนทั้งหมด ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญ .05
